The project, which will take place between November 2025 and October 2027, has the primary mission of strengthening energy and climate literacy among young Europeans.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"3\">Strategic Framework<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">The EcoEd project arises in response to the need to equip new generations with the necessary competences to face the current climate crisis. Through action-oriented educational methodologies, the programme empowers secondary education students (15 to 18 years old) to act as informed agents of change in the fields of sustainability and energy efficiency.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"5\">Core Objectives<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">The consortium will work under a roadmap centered on the following pillars:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"7\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Student empowerment:<\/b> Development of critical knowledge and skills for climate change mitigation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Teacher specialization:<\/b> Training educators in innovative methodologies to integrate sustainability into the academic curriculum.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Innovation in resources:<\/b> Creation of pedagogical materials and active learning methodologies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7,3,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Educational digitalization:<\/b> Implementation of an Open Educational Resources (OER) platform specialized in climate education.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7,4,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7,4,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Community Impact:<\/b> Fostering social awareness and citizen participation regarding the energy transition.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"8\">Project Structure (Work Packages)<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">To ensure the achievement of the objectives, the execution is divided into the following work packages:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"10\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">WP2:<\/b> Development of a methodological manual and didactic materials for the classroom.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">WP3:<\/b> Training programmes for educators and interactive workshops aimed at students.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">WP4:<\/b> Implementation of the EcoEd OER digital platform on energy literacy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,3,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">WP5:<\/b> Dissemination strategy, community engagement, and awareness campaigns on a European scale.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"11\">Transnational Consortium<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\">Under the coordination of the <b data-path-to-node=\"12\" data-index-in-node=\"30\">Agrupamento de Escolas de \u00c1guas Santas (AESCAS)<\/b> from Portugal, the project brings together a panel of experts from various disciplines and countries:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"13\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"13,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Portugal:<\/b> Agrupamento de Escolas de \u00c1guas Santas (Coordinator) and VIBE MADEIRA.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"13,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Spain:<\/b> Fundaci\u00f3n XUL.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"13,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Slovenia:<\/b> University of Maribor and LIFE4YOU Tjasa Ram\u0161ak s.p.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,3,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"13,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Finland:<\/b> University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13,4,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"13,4,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Cyprus:<\/b> SIRA Impact HUB.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14\">This project represents a firm commitment to the education of responsible, critical European citizens prepared to lead the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient way of life.<\/p>\n<h5 data-path-to-node=\"14\"><em>The EcoEd: Youth Leading the Green Shift project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
